Stating that they want to reduce Turkey's dependence on foreign sources in advanced technology with the projects they develop, Çeliker Technology CEO Mustafa Çeliker said, “Our goal is to constantly conduct R&D and touch people's lives. "We try to foresee our 50-year development and make our investments for the future," he said.
Çeliker Technology, which produces technology solutions for the needs of many sectors from defense to agriculture, health, education, security, transportation and smart home systems, is preparing to produce the projects for which it has completed its R&D studies this year. The new technologies produced in the facility established on an area of 870 square meters in Kütahya will be offered for sale in the domestic and foreign markets.
5 million TL investment in R&D
Stating that they are improving themselves more and more every day by following the technological breakthroughs in the world, Çeliker Technology CEO Mustafa Çeliker said, “We have 20 years of experience in this field. Now we are trying to foresee our 50-year development and make our investments for the future. We are currently continuing our work on 3 main R&D and 6 different projects with our team of 10 engineers. We invested 5 million TL. Now we will start mass production. We aim to make the entire system in-house, from R&D to software, from production to sales. We will reach 20 engineers and 30 technical staff in 2023. We want to prevent brain drain through employment. "We want to be one of the pioneers of domestic and national production by investing in new technologies through R&D," he said.
It became one of the firsts in the world with its UAV that remained in the air for 5 hours and 45 minutes.
Noting that they have projects in 17 different UAV fields, Çeliker said that they managed to become the only company in Turkey with hybrid UAVs that can produce their own energy. Çeliker said, “The most advanced drone can stay in Türkiye and the world for 45-50 minutes. The hybrid UAVs we developed can stay in the air for 5 hours and 45 minutes by producing their own electricity. We are unique in this field in Turkey. We rank third in the world, after the USA and Japan. We also carry out studies on Agricultural Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (ZİHA), Commercial Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (TİHA) and Armed Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (SİHA). "We have also produced projects ranging from military surveillance to forest fire detection and response to organ transplantation," he said. Adding that the testing processes of the UAVs that will be produced within Çeliker Technology are continuing, Mustafa Çeliker said, “We are dependent on foreign sources for the parts needed in the production of UAVs. "We will take our place in the industry with our own designs," he said.
“Çeliker Technology will be in everyone's home”
"Çeliker Technology will be in everyone's home," said Çeliker, adding that they managed to produce a product that cleans the air with the Matsmart Home project, adding: "We set out to prevent diseases transmitted from person to person in schools, public institutions and public transportation vehicles. It showed 97 percent success in cleaning bacteria in the air. Once the testing phase is completed, we will start mass production in up to 6 months. We have also developed an in-car search device with a 360-degree rotating camera that allows you to check inside a closed vehicle. Thanks to manual control, it allows you to control the entire vehicle or closed area. "We want to start mass production and sell it as soon as possible," he said.
Eco-friendly smart curtains are coming
Stating that they have also undertaken important projects regarding home technologies, Çeliker said, “With our own engineers, we have produced smart curtains suitable for every home. Türkiye pays significant amounts abroad to use this technology. We also developed our local and national product. We can carry out all stages ourselves, from design to circuit, from mold to production. Our system produces its own electricity thanks to the small panel we placed on it. It can work for 20 days on a single charge. It serves as indoor air conditioning. Thanks to our system, we prevent heat loss and save money. "We have made our patent application, we will start production in 1 month," he said. Speaking about the smart lock system they developed with the digital encryption method, Çeliker pointed out that the keyless product can only be opened when its own encryption method is verified and that no outside intervention can be made.
